New to reformer

Never tried reformer?
Perfect.

Most people arrive slightly unsure. In a room of five, that lasts about four minutes.

Common worries

You do not need to be fit, flexible or confident first.

I have never done reformer before. Is that a problem?

Not at all. Reformer Foundations exists for exactly this. Your instructor will introduce the machine, set your springs and stay close throughout. With five people in the room, nobody gets left to guess.

Do I need to be flexible or fit already?

No. The reformer adapts to you — resistance, range and support are all adjustable. Most people arrive with something they are working around, and that is normal.

How many people are in a class?

Five. That is the studio's maximum, because it is the number of reformers we have. It is a deliberate choice, not a limitation.

What should I wear and bring?

Fitted activewear you can move in, and grip socks (available in the studio shop). Water is a good idea. Everything else is here.

When should I arrive?

Ten minutes before your first class so your instructor can set you up without rushing. Five minutes is fine after that.
